A check of your house before the winter rains. We walk the outside and inside and look at the points where winter damage starts. Portuguese paint developed for sun, salt and damp. Novatex HD on facades — 100% acrylic, reinforced with quartz — and CIN Woodtec Marítimo Classic on exterior wood. Inside and out, always the right system for the surface.
Inspected scaffolding and fall protection. Safe for our team, your home and your neighbours.
Exterior walls are cleaned and treated first. Paint only bonds to a clean, sound surface.
Imperfections, cracks and holes are filled and sanded smooth. We never paint over problems.

CIN throughout, no mixed brands. The render was finished in Novatex HD, a 100% acrylic waterborne facade paint reinforced with quartz. It gives a fine matt, sanded finish that covers the hairline cracks typical of new render, and it is CE-marked for surface protection of concrete. The woodwork was treated with CIN Woodtec Marítimo Classic, an exterior varnish built for sun and damp.

The Paint Atelier is a painting company based in Albufeira, in the central Algarve, Portugal. We paint villas, apartments, second homes and renovation projects across the central Algarve, from Portimão to Vilamoura: exterior façades, interiors, wood and metal, plus maintenance contracts for owners who are not always here.
Our painters know this Algarve climate inside out — what sun, salt and wind do to render, wood and metal — and what it is like to arrive here as a newcomer. Your fixed contact is one of the two owners. Between us we speak Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Yes. We arrange keys with your property manager or neighbour, send photos every working day and hand over by video call. The final invoice follows handover.

It depends on the surface area, the condition of the render and the access (scaffolding). That is why we quote a fixed price per project rather than a price per m². Send photos or book a free inspection and you have a fixed quote within one working day.
Yes. We coordinate keys, access and timing with your property manager, plan around rental bookings and hand over with photos and a video walk-through.

Spring and autumn are ideal: dry weather between roughly 10 and 28 degrees, so paint cures properly. In summer we start early and stay off south- and west-facing walls in full sun; in winter we plan around the rain. Interior work runs all year.
Sometimes. In a condominium the exterior is common property, and some municipalities have rules for facades, especially in historic centres. We check this for you before quoting and work within what is allowed.
